Stellantis has confirmed during an investor event that it will introduce the Ram Rampage to the U.S. market. The Rampage is the brand’s compact-to-midsize truck, which is currently manufactured in Brazil using the same platform as the Jeep Renegade.

While the Rampage is currently distributed throughout Latin America and has already been registered for the U.S. market, the brand may still adjust its production strategy. Turboway has learned that, similar to its rival—the Ford Maverick—the Rampage may eventually be produced in Mexico to optimize logistics and tax-related costs.

The Brazilian-built Rampage has been exported to Europe since last year.

The pickup is a key component of a new strategy to bolster Ram's market share in North America. Currently, the Rampage leads Ram’s sales figures in Brazil and has been instrumental in popularizing the brand throughout the country.
